WI-HER partners with ENCOMPASS, LLC on USAID’s Advancing the Agenda of Gender Equality (ADVANTAGE) IDIQ

WI-HER is proud to announce that it is a partner on the EnCompass, LLC team that won a bid for USAID’s Advancing the Agenda of Gender Equality (ADVANTAGE) IDIQ, managed by the Office of Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment (GenDev).

ADVANTAGE is intended to strengthen USAID’s capacity to integrate gender equality and women’s empowerment systematically across USAID initiatives, ongoing programs and projects, monitoring and evaluation efforts, and procurements by designing integrated development strategies, projects and activities that address gender gaps and improve development outcomes.

WI-HER, along with all members of the Encompass team, will be offering short- and long-term technical services related to gender, gender-based violence (GBV), and trafficking in persons (TIP) to support USAID operating units and other actors. Such technical assistance may include providing technical assistance, training sessions overseas and in the US, communications and outreach to increase the level of knowledge, organizational analyses, and research.

WI-HER looks forward to supporting Encompass on this important mechanism and to advancing gender equality around the globe.
